Natasha graduated from the European School of Animal Osteopathy and continued to follow her passion for Eventing producing a horse form 5 year old to 4*(now 5*) and established a thriving and success business with monthly clinics in Hamburg, Ireland and Newmarket. Covid and moving to Marston lead to Natasha refocusing, travelling less and establishing the hydrotherapy center at Marston Stud. She is fully aware of the rigours and requirements of the modern sports horse. This allows her to address structural and mechanical imbalances through manipulation and massage thereby reducing areas of tension and improving biomechanical function.

Emma Miller
Rehabilitation Manager
Equine Therapist, FEI Permitted Equine Therapist, Registered Equine Hydrotherapist, IRVAP IEH, MT
Emma has over 25 years experience with international teams and top level sport. Having worked as centre manager and therapist for DR Matthias Baumann, who developed the FMBS water treadmill, she offers a wealth of knowledge regarding top level performance sports horses and veterinary rehabilitation.

Megan Thomas

Registered Equine Hydrotherapist

Megan joined Marston in 2022 after deciding to step away from work riding having
previously worked for Nicky Henderson and Paul Webber. Megan is a registered Equine
Hydrotherapist with the Institute of Equine Hydrotherapists (IEH) and is fully immersed in
the day to day care of inpatients and walk-ins, including using the water treadmill.

Natashas keen interest in Veterinary Rehabilitation brought her to us in 2024, after having previously worked with 3 day eventers and on a Thoroughbred Stud along with having worked part – time for local trainer Paul Webber. Tash has a keen eye for detail both on the yard and whilst working horses on the water treadmill.

Amy Downie
Grazing Livery Assistant and Groom
Amy has many years experience in the Stud and racing industry, having previously also held a trainers license . Amy joined us to predominantly assist with the day to day care of our grazing liveries and youngstock. When not out on the fields checking horses or seeing to field maintenance and upkeep, you will find Amy lending a hand in the Rehabilitation yard or on the water treadmill.

Kate Brooks
Office Manager
Kate has been running the Estate Office for 5 years and is the lifeline of the Stud. Having grown up within an agricultural setting, Kate is fully versed on all aspects of running a busy estate office and enjoys the variety of the seasons. In her spare time, Kate enjoys riding her horse and helping her daughter at events.

Beccy Smith
Part – time office and Rehabilitation Groom
Beccy joined us on a part – time basis at the end of 2023 and has been part of the team ever since. Having previously worked with Sport horses and Bloodstock and currently a BSc (Hons) Veterinary Physiotherapist degree student at Warwickshire University; Beccy is a knowledgeable and regular face on the water treadmill especially for our Saturday clients.

Dan Evans
Maintenance & Operations
Dan is a full time fire fighter but when he is not fighting fires and saving lives, he carries out our Stud maintenance work and all essential mowing, strimming, repairing and odd jobs.

Helen Van Tuyll
Having graduated from Massey University, New Zealand in 2007 Helen has worked at some of the leading thoroughbred studs with routine breeding work and stallion care, as well as artificial breeding and embryo transfers of sport horses. She returned to England in 2011 to work as a stud and sport horse vet at Bourton Vale Equine Clinic in Gloucestershire before founding her own practice,VT Vets, in 2015.

Lyal Evans
Farrier
Lyle has successfully forged a strong career having started out as an apprentice with Champion & head Olympic farrier Jim Blurton. He now shoes a variety of horses at 5* in multiple disciplines nationally & internationally , having won multiple titles at prestigious events.
Lyle is integral to the rehab of the horses in our care.
Student rotations
We are pleased to be a placement provider for 3rd year degree students on Veterinary Rehabilitation & Performance Horse related degrees. Students are accepted via an application & interview process and must have proven Sport or race horse experience. We take 1 to 2 students annually who complete 6 months to 1 year placement with us, any student with us is a full hands – on member of the Marston team.
